The Musconetcong River flows through Allamuchy Mountain State Park, and boasts some of New Jersey's best trout fishing. There are a number of trails that wend through the hardwood forests, in addition to the historic Waterloo Village, which gives visitors an idea of how life was lived in 19th century New Jersey.
